Painted Portraits

Here is a sample of what I've been learning at Photoshop World ~ Hand painted portraits! This is a photograph of one of the models there that I then, using the "mixer brush" turned it into a painting. I feel like I am getting back to my "roots" as I started out doing oil paintings back when I was a Fine Art's Major in college.

After some fine tuning, I plan on offering this service as part of my photography options ~ stay tuned!

I just wanted to thank everyone who has given me the opportunity to photograph you during this past year. Many of you are friends or have become friends and I wouldn’t be able to do what I love without you!

With Christmas around the corner and the clock ticking, you should be aware of a few deadlines:

Christmas cards:
December 10th - I must have your selections for editing if you hope to have time to get the cards.
December 15th – If I’ve already edited, I must have your card selection to order by this time.
*It takes about 5 business days AFTER I’ve ordered your cards for them to arrive so you can then mail them.

One more reminder: I am running a 30% discount on gallery canvas wraps and metal prints (see below) through the end of the year. Let me know if you’d like a price quote on any particular size.

Gallery Wraps
When ordering a Gallery Wrap we print your image large enough to tension stretch around the sides of the 1 ½" wooden stretcher frame to complete the "wrapped" look. The staples are on the back of the print rather than the sides. Metal hangers and bumpers are attached to the back making it ready to hang.
All Gallery Wraps are printed directly onto the canvas and then satin coated to prevent scratches from normal handling and to give it UV protection. This is included in the price of the Gallery Wrap.

Believe it or not, it’s that time of year again! Kids are going back to school, summer is ending and soon the trees and plants will change to beautiful colors! Fall family portraits are my most requested sessions, and many of you have indicated you’d like to reserve a spot. Often these images are intended for Christmas cards. This year I have available 10 amazing Christmas card designs with 60 different templates to choose from! You can get customized press printed or photographic printed cards that come from a professional lab that will stand out from the rest. (Let me know if you want to see what they look like, and I will email them to you!)

I am offering a few select Saturday’s with “Fall Mini Sessions” where I will be at one location that offers a variety of settings for the day. Sessions will last 45 minutes where I’ll take as many family shots (up to 6 people, $10 for ea addl.) and individuals as we can for just $100. You will have up to 10 fully edited images to choose from to purchase prints or the digital image on CD. This will also include 25 customized Christmas cards of your choice for FREE! *Session fee due to reserve your spot.
